Meanwhile with direct downloads, no one except the host themselves can even see what you're downloading. The only thing your ISP knows is what domain and subdomain you're connected to. Your ISP can see that you are connected to krakenfiles.com or drive.google.com or whatever but they don't know what you're downloading or viewing, if at all.
