What's the story behind your product?

NewRoom.io's answer

Our founding story is rooted in the challenges and opportunities we observed in the home design and furnishings industry. As a former home stager, I encountered interior designers using third-party software with furniture models to showcase products to clients and earn commissions. Witnessing the high entry barrier and costs associated with traditional interior design services, especially for small families and immigrants, I realized the need for a more accessible solution.

At the beginning of the year, when stable diffusion AI technology emerged, numerous AI room design websites surfaced. I stumbled upon a comment expressing excitement about the ability to purchase furniture within the design, igniting my passion for the idea. In just one month, I personally developed our minimum viable product (MVP) to gauge interest and validate the AI room design concept. To my astonishment, the MVP attracted an impressive 120k unique visitors within two weeks, including industry professionals using it for idea brainstorming.

What sets us apart is not a single groundbreaking event but a culmination of small factors that led me to embark on this journey. With my prior entrepreneurial experience and a committed team of two technical cofounders, one of whom left a high-paying job in Singtel Singapore, and the other freed from contract-based machine learning projects, we are fully dedicated to realizing our vision and providing a solution that truly meets people's needs.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

NewRoom.io's answer

Stable diffusion with our trained control net model, cloud services, etc.

Basecamp has a clean and intuitive design that makes it easy to use. The dashboard is well-organized and shows all the active projects and tasks at a glance. Basecamp has a variety of features that make it easy to manage tasks, track progress, communicate with team members, and share files.

Basecamp vs Pneumatic — From Startup Efficiency to Advanced Workflow Optimization
It’s a bold claim and by most accounts Basecamp executes on it with sufficient success. But then again, as the old saying goes, our greatest weaknesses are extensions of our greatest strengths: adopting Basecamp means that if you want to get the most bang for your buck out of it, you need to migrate everything into Basecamp. It won’t be a big deal if you’re just starting out...
