When stuff breaks - you'd want to know as quickly as possible because downtime at scale can be costly. As a good example, I used to work for an e-commerce agency, a huge one in Australia. So we had huge retail customers and clients. What we did is we used to do benchmark load testings and observed through...to be honest, we used New Relic because that time it's like a couple of years ago.
