New Relic’s APM platform puts your telemetry—distributed tracing and beyond—into a single context, helping you visualize the path of any service request and pivot to other telemetry data, like logs or errors tracking. - Source: dev.to / about 1 year ago
A solid error tracking tool - e.g. : https://newrelic.com/platform/application-monitoring or https://sentry.io/. When stuff breaks - you'd want to know as quickly as possible because downtime at scale can be costly. With these sort of tools - you can constantly monitor your applications health and react more quickly and efficiently when something breaks. - Source: dev.to / about 1 year ago
I'm presuming YOU already understand why observability is important - to you, to your team, to your applications, to your network infrastructure, and more. Jenkins used to be the default for many projects as it has the biggest community along with a very powerful platform at the price of a complex setup that demands a steep learning curve.
