Correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I understand, if you just go to netflix.com and subscribe to their 4k content you don't get the 4k video, you need a streaming box or some kind of dedicated program. Perhaps to stop pirates... But think about how many poor sods are paying for quality they don't even get. Source: 5 months ago
Anyone have issues accessing some sites? Just to let everyone know its happening on every device in my home not just one. For example I cannot get to imdb.com I get 403 error but I can get to netflix.com. I can get to all sites if I connect to a vpn first. So its something with atts network but not sure what. Man, been clicking the dvd.netflix.com on my folder to check on queue at least once a week out of habit but deep inside knowing it's not coming back. Muscle memory sucks. Source: 5 months ago
I love the Trim extension for Chrome/Firefox to show reviews of Netflix movies inside the netflix.com site. However, several weeks/months ago, the Metacritic reviews stopped showing up. The developers haven't replied on the extension review system, but I'm wondering if anyone knows why it's happening. Source: 6 months ago
I am struggling to add netflix.com to route it to india.. it always says Failed to add smart Route list. Source: 6 months ago

Why not forget about Cloudflare and a VPN but get a 3 euro Hetzner server and install https://github.com/antoniomika/sish for dynamic DNS through SSH + Traefik with a DNS resolver and have yourself a wildcard certificate. This way you can host any service from home as long as you run a port forwarding service through SSH with a one liner on Ubuntu. Better yet make an alpine docker image with a command to route... Personally I’ve been using sish[1] recently, lots of ngrok alternatives out there now, especially as the pricing went a bit weird [1] https://github.com/antoniomika/sish. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
I used to use a similar tool called inlets but they removed the open licensing. I now self host a sish server (https://github.com/antoniomika/sish) which also uses ssh for the reverse tunnel client. So much simpler! - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
- Sish : Because I don't want to pay for ngrok anymore (https://github.com/antoniomika/sish). - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
