sish mentions

  • Is ngrok good for hosting my mc server?
It should be ok as they even mention using it for exposing services like RDP and I've seen some people using it for game servers, but you might want to get a paid plan since your endpoint changes every time you fire up ngrok and it's annoying. You can also check the open source alternative if you feel like it won't be a problem for you. - Source: Reddit / 27 days ago
  • SSH Jump host / port forwarder, anonymous service + source + alternative
Source code: https://bitbucket.org/ValdikSS/dropbear-sshj/ After I made the PoC modifications and setup the server on SSH-J.com, I found functionally better and mature project called sish. Https://github.com/antoniomika/sish. - Source: Reddit / 27 days ago

Portmap.io mentions

  • Selfhosted portmap.io
Hello, is there any software that would allow me to create something simillar to portmap.io? My ISP blocked access to router and I am not able to open ports. I was using portmap.io for quiet a while, but I would prefere to host something like this by myself. I tried using wireguard but unfortunetly it only allows UDP ports. I want to port forward TCP ports of server that is hosted on my pc and try to connect... - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago
  • accessing my server over the internet (port forwarding?)
I've set up my own server at home, and would like to have it accessible over the internet, but not have the IP lead directly back to me. it's kind of like trying to setup my own "portmap.io" node, but where I control it all. - Source: Reddit / about 1 month ago
