The advantage of Ring, despite being locked into Amazon’s ecosystem, is you can pay one price and have cloud access to all the cameras you purchase/utilize. Doorbell, interior, exterior, etc. They also just recently released updates to their own security system which is super easy to install yourself. I had a look at cheaper ones a couple months back. The best I could find that is cheap-ish is not available in New Zealand.
