New HVAC system, and finding that the ecobee "real-time" weather data sucks very badly. My reading is about 7 degrees lower (67 vs 75F) than the myforecast.com measurement. And myforecast.com is 5 degrees lower than darksky or accuweather, both of which probably lag actual temps by 30 minutes or so. Source: almost 2 years ago

I see people on this subreddit talking about figuring out the day before which city to drive to based on cloud coverage, but I'm confused how that works. Are the weather predictions for different nearby cities that accurate that you will know which cities will be cloudy vs. clear?
