  • Do you host a VPN to protect you while downloading torrents?
A seedbox is a good thing. I switched to Ultraseedbox four years ago. The cost was only $5 more than I was paying for a VPN. I do most of my pirate activity on Usenet, but for some content, such as documentaries, torrents are the better option. The cool thing about Ultra, the cost includes complimentary HTTP proxy, OpenVPN and Wireguard. Source: 12 months ago

If you don't mind torrents, then https://forums.mvgroup.org/. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Moving away from Mega, using dubox.com for new posts and Telegram for mirrors
I'm aware of docuwiki, I think about 30% of my documentaries come from there or from MVGroup, which is the main source for docuwiki itself. Unfortunately some of those sources are no longer being seeded, and/or only available on ed2k network, which is slowly dying :(. Source: about 3 years ago
  • Random advice
The BBC doesn't go after pirates. Join MVGroup and get a bittorrent client, then go there once a week and get the latest documentaries (I'd stay in the BBC subsection). Source: about 3 years ago

  • I just contributed to PBS and I feel old!
This site has some good ones.. I recommend LA92 or whatever it is about the Riots. Two I saw there were really good. Source: about 1 year ago
  • What are the "sound bites" you will always remember? As in: you know exactly where you were when you heard it. Maybe from a sporting event, breaking news, a speech, whatever.
This site has a couple of Docs about the LA Riots that are good.. One of them is just archival footage, really worth seeing them if you haven’t. It made OJ make more sense. Right or wrong. Source: about 1 year ago
  • What theory do you believe in
There’s some interesting Docs here.. Building 7 is interesting. The Pentagon always was suspicious to me, even when I was on board with the rest. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Trial of Elmer Rhodes, the leader of the Oath Keepers who is on trial for Seditious Conspiracy for his actions on and around January 6th.
Thought maybe has the old Weather Underground movie they made while they were on the run.. Like their ideology and mission and such. Interesting part of US history. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Documentary recommendations?
