  • MusicLM: Generating Music from Text
Https://github.com/ad-si/awesome-sheet-music FWIU, Current LLMs can't yet do explainable AI well enough to satisfy the optional Attribution clause of e.g. Creative Commons licenses? - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
  • Is Bach’s music free to use?
Use https://musopen.org for royalty free recordings of classical music including lots of Bach. Source: over 1 year ago
  • I'm compiling creative commons music from all the classical composers I know, starting with Johann Pachelbel.
What a wonderful idea! I guess you must know about Musopen and their CC0 collection of classical recordings on the Internet Archive? Source: over 1 year ago
  • Hi Reddit! My name is Piotr Rochala and I recently released a game on Nintendo Switch I developed solo with my 3 kids. It's called Amazing Chicken Adventures - it's a 3D arcade egg-rolling puzzle platformer! AMA!
I used FL Studio (Fruity Loops) for all sound engineering. It's a very powerful tool but comes with its own steep learning curve. All music comes from musopen.org - a charity with a mission to set classical music free of copyright. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Brutally hard, indie 3D egg-rolling puzzle platformer called Amazing Chicken Adventures is coming to Nintendo Switch this Halloween
I am solo indie dev. I did all 3D art, animation, programming and publishing. I am not a composer, so I decided to feature Public Domain classical music in my game, sourced from musopen.org - a charity with a mission to set classical music free of all copyright for all humanity to enjoy. • Is Bitwig Essentials enough for controlling Eurorack Modular?
Buy through splice.com its no interest or fees added and a I think about $8.99 US a month till you pay it off u get same things and updates till its paid off which takes a long time so a steal at the price you own it outright when paid off. Source: 7 months ago
  • Anyone having troubles with using Cubase 13 on Splice rent-to-own?
I upgraded Cubase to 13, which essentialy adds 6 months to your rent but now I can't use Cubase at all. It says the license expired, and when I click "renew" in the Activation Manager it just brings me to splice.com which says that my license is active... Source: 7 months ago
  • is pro worth it over artist?
Lastly, if you have exhausted your 60 day trial, and are in need of Pro, but can't spend at the moment, splice.com offers a rent-to-own plan for Cubase Pro. It is always at full price though and never goes on sale, so keep that in mind. Although, it's good to pay $17 for a couple months till the sale arrives, and then crossgrade to it. Will still be quite reasonable. Source: 12 months ago
  • Where do you get your drums?
I have no shame in saying I use splice , mainly cus of the sample clearance and convenience. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Looking for free or cheap one shot drum and cymbal samples for metal/rock/djent
I like using Splice. They have tons of one shots and loops and it all drags-and-drops right into your DAW. You can probably get a free trial to get what you need, then cancel. Source: about 1 year ago
