   My HUGE library is so organized now!

   Love this product and the way it interfaces with my personal library of music. I have thousands of hours of opera -- and a lot of it is not available anywhere else (because it is personal bootlegs). I needed a way to organize by genre, by album, by singer, and by composer, and then stream from my desktop browser at work and from my phone. Astiga checks all the boxes.

   My own personal music streamer in hi-resolution sound

   This app liberated my music from global companies and put it back under my own control and personalisation. I'm not dependent on their storage or app changes that restrict how I play my own music. It also works across devices and means my music isn't stuck on one device or place. For the small cost, I can stream losslessly wherever I am with perfect sound quality. I have over 130,000 tracks in my library and it works wonderfully, with my own genres, playlists, starred selections and app appearance.

  What do you use to tag your music? I imagine if you use a consistent piece of software (mp3tag, musicbrainz picard), they're going to do it the same way. Or for example, maybe musicbrainz.org allows people to enter metadata in their database in UTF-8, so it's possible you might get different answers from there even though you're using a standard piece of software.   When it comes to MusicBrainzPicard, it pulls data directly from https://musicbrainz.org/. If you are finding music you have that isn't listed in the database, you could help out by contributing to the database so that everyone gets access to that music. Source: 11 months ago

  While this doesn't help with replacing the discussion you get on reddit, might I suggest people spend some time contributing to their favourite artists on https://musicbrainz.org/ ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Musicbrainz )? Many services & apps use MusicBrainz data, so you could help your favourites by making sure the information for their entries on MusicBrainz is as complete and accurate as possible!   Update: I have reached out to the nice Stripe employee who volunteered their email, let's see what happens. It's been pointed out a few times that my marketing says the site won't die, and me killing it would be very ironic.
