  Hey all, I've decided to learn a new programming language not so long ago and I decided to gain some experience by making a rich presence for MPD (Music Player Daemon, https://musicpd.org).   On the other hand, if you want a single Spotify-esque service from which multiple clients can stream the audio without managing their own databases, there are Subsonic and derivatives which also offer transcoding options.
