MuseScore VS Bosca Ceoil

I'm aiming to transcribe a piano composition for cello duet and in doing so am using a source file which was created in Musescore 2.3 or something, the file playback sounds fine on musescore.com but when I try to use the file (playback) on the musescore app (musescore 4), I cannot hear entire parts of the file (because the volume is somehow very low even though there is only one visible dynamic across both... I was looking on musescore.com to listen to a really nice piano arrangement of Suteki da ne, but it seems to have been removed, and I did not save the sheet music to my computer! I was wondering if anyone has the sheet music saved somewhere. I really liked this one particular arrangement, and I was a fool not to save it. I don't remember who posted it on there originally. Hey folks. I'm no kind of musician - the best I can do is whistle. But I've had fun with Bosca Ceoil and I'd like to find something equally simple yet with a good variety of instruments so that I can noodle about with audio fragments when I'm travelling. I am not making music yet, but if I were, I would be looking into ProjectSAM (free orchestra) and Bespoke Synth (free modular DAW). Also, I found Bosca Ceoil to be good for retro video game music as the files it creates are small and work well with source control. Source: over 1 year ago

I made all of the sounds myself in either BeepBox (https://www.beepbox.co/) or Bosca Ceol (https://boscaceoil.net/). The sound of the bar going up and down is just a long humming sound that I loop and change the pitch of based on how full the bar is. For the collision sound, on CollisionEnter2D I add together Brian's velocity X and Y, and use that as a modifier for the volume of the collision - so it will be a... Source: over 1 year ago
