I do not use a Video Capture Card, instead I opted to use NDI (ndi.tv) tools to transmit video over my 1gbps ethernet. I remember seeing an audio option (which I've never used), and thought...wait...this may be a perfect use-case for the new 'audience mix' output from the Mix Create Software.
