If you want a US-based channel similar to France24, look at Newsy, available online at newsy.com, on almost every streaming device, and OTA. They are in about 90% of the broadcast markets. (I get them here in Los Angeles on KXPN channel 30.6. Source: over 2 years ago

If you allowed me to add npr.com, pbs.com heck even newsy.com can be a pretty good source. Usually, I try to evade myself from the American news media and instead goes to those outside (except for a small few like RT for example). Source: about 3 years ago
