  • Space Animal Stickers in my Redbubble store, see links in captions
The heads of the animals themselves were taken from various royalty free images ( namely morguefile.com) and then heavily modified in Photoshop to create a sort of greyscale stencil. After that, I've experimented with various layer options with public domain images from the Hubble Telescope gallery and ended up with these neat looking designs. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Modern public domain Photography Resources?
Https://morguefile.com/ used to be my go-to for public domain CC0 sort of images. They have, unfortunately, fallen into the same situation as so many other sites like it - they were bought out by Shutterstock, who now use it as a front-end to upsell you into buying their shit. The free-to-use stuff still exists, but navigating the site is a pain in the ass anymore, lots of scummy bait-and-switch shit going on. Source: about 2 years ago
