I similarly find something like Yabai a bit too heavy-handed for my needs, and instead prefer Moom[0]. I ended up using Moom [1] to work around some of the oddities of macOS window management. It's relatively low-feature, mostly for window arrangements and sizing. I use it on a vertical monitor to split window placement horizontally, since macOS can only natively do vertical splits. How do you like the desk? I'm currently using an autonomous.ai sit to stand desk (i never stand because for whatever reason I can't problem solve as well while standing) and I have a secretlab chair that I think is "just OK" (titan evo 2022), but I've been looking at their desks for a while now. I actually currently work an office job, though I do have the luxury of getting up frequently. That is the first thing I would recommend, is standing and stretching as often as you can.
