   Moneyworks is feature pack and greatest off-the-shelf accounting solution

   Moneyworks is the greatest Off-The-Shelf package accounting solution. Scalable, with flexibility to do own scripting, and simple enough for non-accounting or technie person to manage accounting and inventory management.

   🏁 Competitors: MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks

   👍 Pros:    Simple yet powerful and efficient tool|Affordable pricing|Highly customizable|Hybrid on-premise and oncloud|Available for both windows and mac|Supports both shopify and woocommerce|Mobile app available

   👎 Cons:    No direct integration with banks|No hrms module

  There's also Plain Text Accounting[1]. The biggest problem of all open source solutions, accountants' experience aside, is the lack of banking and taxes integration, especially outside of US, e.g. For Asian, South American, or African businesses.
