For working with remote machines that I need to ssh into I've found mobaXTerm[1] to be a very useful terminal emulator. It has an optional remote monitoring feature that shows the usual stats as a small bar under the active terminal window. It's a windows only application though. There are various SSH clients available for Windows (PuTTY, Solar-PuTTY, MobaXterm, Termius, etc) but if you use Windows versions older than 10, the installation of PuTTY is suggested. Source: 6 months ago

Now, this is the hardest bit, most of us are too poor to afford the latest and greatest tech and other new stuffs, but things which we can do, like installing a new program (Microsoft PowerToys, Windows Terminal and Windows Package Manager (Winget)) testing new softwares (Windows Insider Program, Apple Public Beta Program) are some ways to make us the early birds or early adopters without spending our precious... This is a frontend for various Windows package managers, it does not do package management itself. You would have to investigate the specific package manager you want to use. Consider using winget to keep the majority of your packages up-to-date. It's baked into Windows 11 and the most recent versions of Windows 10 (as far as I am aware of), it also has updating capabilities, etc. Source: over 1 year ago
