NewsBlur might be a bit more popular than Mix. We know about 20 links to it since March 2021 and only 16 links to Mix. Right? I miss the site. It's turned into some app called Mix now. I'm gonna snoop and see what's the deal. Source: 10 months ago
Mix was brought up elsewhere but everyone hated it. Source: 11 months ago
Update: Mix is where StumbleUpon actually moved to. Cloudhiker is similar to StumbleUpon, but I'm not sure of its origins. Source: 11 months ago

Once upon a time I used StumbleUpon (now called mix.com) to find random things on the internet that I didn't know existed, based on my interests. It wasn't perfect but it gave me that feeling of finding interesting new things on the internet. Source: over 1 year ago

There's a bunch of replacements. I like https://newsblur.com but there are 4-6 large-ish similar sites. That said, partially what people miss is the relative cultural hegemony of Google Reader. I start every day with RSS subscriptions using NewsBlur (https://newsblur.com) and Reeder (https://reederapp.com). I've also set up a page so other people can see my subscriptions / what I'm reading: https://sources.werd.io. - Source: Hacker News / 11 months ago
