The page uses webrtc to establish a udp connection with an amazon kinesis video service, the client sends your input and it streams a video back. Very overengineered to prevent spies from viewing the 3d models, presumably. I guess it also would work on old devices that can't display 3d. Source: over 1 year ago

SpyGlass is an abstract base class that handles the state machine of the GStreamer pipeline. The concrete implementation KVSSpyGlass sends frames to Amazon Kinesis Video Streams service.
