Workplace by Facebook might be a bit more popular than Minds. We know about 1 link to it since March 2021 and only 1 link to Minds. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
There are other projects like minds.com which is also starting to catch some attention. My biggest concern is that the big tech companies catch these trends and start to more actively censor their search results or in other way hinder their growth such as lobbying for stricter regulation to take out any competition. In the example quoted, Workplace.com embeds something from linkedIn, which has tracking for Microsoft. The issue is not blocking directly-embedded scripts, but rather going that extra step to block tracking that linkedIn provides to workplace.com. Make sense? Source: almost 2 years ago
