  If you don't rely too much on the security part and as you said have not much mail traffic, I can highly recommend looking into migadu. They have a very cheap plan with multiple domains and accounts and such but do limit the mail traffic. Source: over 1 year ago

  Considering Wix self hosts, I don't see a need for a web hoster, so I was wondering whether MXRoute would be suggested here, from what I understand all I would need to do is to change the DNS settings for mail to point to MXRoute, and cancel the web hosting and email options with her current web hoster (123-reg.co.uk). The domian was due for renewal in November 2022 and I forgot to pay the registrarion fee and it was released. When I went to 123-reg.co.uk to see if it was available agian on the 28th of February 2023 it was available so I purchased it and was sent an invoice by 123-reg confirming that it was purchased...
