   The Ultimate Collaboration App

   s someone who works remotely, I've tried my fair share of collaboration apps. However, I have to say that Microsoft Teams has impressed me the most. It's a comprehensive app that brings together all the tools I need to communicate and collaborate with my colleagues seamlessly.

   The interface of Microsoft Teams is user-friendly and easy to navigate. I particularly love the left-hand navigation bar that provides quick access to all the features, including chats, meetings, files, and activity. The app integrates with other Microsoft apps, such as Outlook and OneDrive, making it easier to schedule meetings and access files. The chat feature is simple, yet effective, with options to create groups, share files, and use emojis and GIFs.

• Tools for edit/motion graphics notes?

  Do you use frame.io? You can mark up notes and revisions, and export those as an edl for Resolve and import as markers into Resolve. The use a tool like https://aescripts.com/review-importer/ to import the same comments from frame.io into after effects. Or just use the Frame.io plugin directly inside After Effects too. • Is Frame.io playback glitching for anybody else?

  I never did. I've started sharing cuts with clients a different way and have had to apologize for the glitch. Just tried frame.io today and am still having playback issues. Really frustrating. Source: 6 months ago

• Mass Locate video clips?

  So I do remote editing for my brother's training business. We use frame.io and I always download the proxies (sometimes 80-90 clips) to a folder in my documents folder. Is there any way to make it so that all of the clips can get re-pointed to the new file location instead of doing them all manually?Example. Source: 7 months ago

• Is this a fair rate for an editor

  Bonus) This probably doesn't affect you, but in the real world you also need to factor in the costs to do your service, not just your own time. So things like software licence costs, computer costs, review platform (like frame.io) costs, etc. ALL of those things add up to increase your edit rate as a freelancer. Source: 11 months ago
