  • I have no ideas about programming, but I need help to incorporate a chatroom into my wordpress website.
Also, yes, you would have to open a different page (and make an account) to use discord. If you dont like the account part you could create a WebIRC server and use https://mibbit.com/ to integrate it into your webpage, but I would get someone technical to handle that lol. Source: 10 months ago
  • are there good chat rooms that aren’t part of discord?
Try a webbased IRC client. There's a server list built in. It doesn't get easier than this. Https://mibbit.com/. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Long term good standing user account seems to be disabled, is it ok to ask here for advice for what looks like a automated P2P-NET ban?
    First try the web-based ones - https://kiwiirc.com/ - https://mibbit.com/. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Need basic help
Maybe a web-based IRC client could serve you well, such as mibbit.com if you only want to get to one particular server and channel.. It might be easier to just visit a web site such as this, punch in the server, channel & nickname details, and whala.. Than to install an application if you're not particularly techie. Just 2 cents. • A retro-style TUI dashboard for my desk, built with a Raspberry Pi and WTFUtil
This is built using WTFUtil and runs on a dedicated raspberry pi that I have hooked up to a spare monitor on my desk. The "Network" and "Services" section use a custom bash script that I hacked together in a couple hours, and the "SkyLab" banner is my homelab's MOTD, but everything else is just using the built-in WTFUtil plugins.
