  I use brave, google (for technical subjects when I can't find answer with brave), and for anything that has a remote chance to be censored I use engines with their own crawlers : fireball.de, gigablast.com, yandex.com and other browsers to be sure but I don't think they have their own crawler : lycos.com, swisscows.com, mojeek.com, metager.de.   Currently I'm on Newsblur. But it's really convoluted to Self host - to my "shame" I use their cloud hosted app with premium. It's (over)laden with features that I actually use and cheaper than for example Feedly. Source: 11 months ago
