Try, running as administrator, installing another game patch/crack from https://gf.wiretarget.com/ or https://megagames.com/ if nothing works try downloading all redists, frameworks, libraries or whatever that are required for your game. Alright so personally I think apunkagames or apunkagames.biz is safe even though windows defender thinks it is a trojan but windows defender is toothless as hell, I've downloaded quite a lot of games from there, mainly compressed games and repacks such as hitman and mirror's edge. Works like an absolute charm for shitty internet users like me but best to use an adblocker and turn on the 'ask before downloading'... Source: about 2 years ago
