It is very well built with simplicity in mind. There are several themes and all of them look amazing. I love the "typewriter" and "focus" mode. In contrast with other apps that focus the current window and remove all visibility options, Typora goes one step ahead and fades down all other paragraphs as well.
Based on our record, Typora seems to be a lot more popular than MDyna. While we know about 84 links to Typora, we've tracked only 2 mentions of MDyna. For 2 years I've worked on MDyna, a markdown notes application, mostly because there wasn't anything out there which met my requirements. Notion was around, but they had a pay wall on their 'blocks'. Evernote was ok for a little bit, but the only thing it really did for me was search... Once I realized that I switched tactics. I organized my life into domains, and got okay at using grep to replace it. My saving grace that I would pay twice for is https://typora.io.
