  • I can't find any good PDF editor. Is there an Android or Linux app, or maybe PWA that is capable of inserting images in a PDF, allowing writing with pen and keyboard (and I want that text to be searchable so OCRd)?
Master PDF for Linux, you can try it for free, it will insert a watermark on saved documents. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Hiccups after Changing to Mint
Foxit: If only doing comments and basic stuff, use Foxit Reader. They have a linux version, been using it for years, it's pretty good. If you want full features to edit anything about a PDF, sadly foxit doesn't do it. MasterPDF is probably your best bet. https://code-industry.net/masterpdfeditor/. Source: over 1 year ago
  • pdfviewer with tabs and save session
Have you tried Master PDF? It's on Flathub too. If you need the editing features, use masterpdf4 (also on AUR). I usually install masterpdf5 via Flathub for convenience if I don't need to do major edits, and use masterpdf4 for major edits only (installing masterpdf5 on Flathub meant the two versions doesn't interfere with each other's settings). • PDF form tools for Linux (Acroform or XFA)
Try PDF Master Editor (free for non commercial use). Currently my personal choice when it comes to complex PDF editing. The price and the licensing terms are VERY attractive. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Question from a noob - best pdf tool?
If you need to be able to fully edit multiple page pdf document(move/remove existing images inside the page, edit existing text etc.) and do it more convenient way than Inkscape+Pdf arranger method, I can only recommend a proprietary(a.k.a. nonfree) tool called Master Pdf Editor. • Services like Docusign?
If you need just that, then definitely signnow (signnow.com). Source: 11 months ago
  • E-Signature Software Recommendations
Signnow.com might work but they are not a document editor, strictly speaking (BUT amazing good for placing fillable fields! sic!). Source: about 1 year ago
  • Is this a scam? I do get changed set shifts for my job, but the emails don't usually look like this and none of my employers have this name.
It's just that Brendan guy (someone from your work, I guess?) is using signnow.com as their e-signature and doc preparation solution (just check the domain/site manually, it is completely safe). Source: about 1 year ago
  • Which tool do you use for document generation for the end-user
If you only need to add several fillable fields and that's it -- I'd go either with signnow.com or with pdffiller.com (they look different but this is the same, US-based vendor). Source: over 1 year ago
  • How to create a PDF with a cell row that can be typed information and saved?
If you need people's signatures on those forms, I'd say signnow.com (they also have an integration with pdffiller because of the same vendor, and it's pretty neat!). Source: over 1 year ago
