  I'll reveal that it was "Marble". I thought signing was a thing outside of the Apple store too. I.E. a package can _come with_ a signature or not, even when downloaded outside of the Apple store. I've whitelist installs with the "this one is not signed" intervention in System Preferences. I've also had off-store downloads that did not require that intervention.   Also, toss in the control key [ ⌘⇧⌃4 ] if you want it to go straight into your clipboard (with or without your spacebar for the window selection). Which can be awesome for pasting into a document or email and not having to worry about having the file filling up the folder where you keep all your other screen captures.
