If you want a proper tile system to handle large amounts of land/data (and don't want to make your own symbology/style) then unfortunately it gets a bit harder. I'm somewhat of a fan of Tegola, if you look through the docs and tutorials (see the navbar at top of the page) you'll see it's pretty easy to set up a premade style.
