Looks like you want something that integrates well with your workflow. The closest to your description seems to be Manuskript although I haven't used it. But your requirement of "keeping notes and frameworks and linking back and forth" should be possible by stitching together existing Linux tools using a syntax like markdown or asciidoc so that you can use any text editor to write your story and use external tools... Thanks for writing this up so beautifully. I'm an old Mac user and user Nova daily, mostly for Playdate development. It has been very unstable/crash-prone recently, agreed. The major crasher that lost me much work was fixed in a recent update, so I no longer want to delete the app but I would still appreciate it if they could take the accelerator off and fix all the crashers.
