Can't disclose that, however, as per our public stats on wp .org, 10k+ users are managing over 600,000 WordPress sites which makes 60 sites on average.
WPMU DEV might be a bit more popular than MainWP. We know about 7 links to it since March 2021 and only 6 links to MainWP. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
I've inherited about 40+ of wordpress sites and I need to produce a report on any plugins that are no longer maintained. I know that MainWP can do this but I would like to be able to run a search through the command line so that I can export into a spreadsheet. I need a centralized report that I can pass around other people in order to make larger decisions. Source: over 1 year ago

Currently I use mainwp.com from one WP site, but I thought it would be kinda neat to just see it on my daily Nextcloud homepage. Source: about 2 years ago
Then get https://mainwp.com/ or sth similar to keep your sites up to date. Source: about 2 years ago
Are you familiar with mainwp.com or EDD Software Licensing plugin? Not sure if I'm correctly understanding what you're asking, but those are the two I know of that devs use to manage and update themes & plugins on client sites. Source: almost 3 years ago
Highly recommend https://wpmudev.com/. Source: 11 months ago
WPMUDEV is a plugin developer and hosting provider, you're probably thinking of WPML. Source: about 1 year ago
Stop dreaming about tomorrow; start making a difference today. Join our team at WPMU DEV and be the hero you’ve always known yourself to be! Source: almost 2 years ago
A great resource for hosting multisites is WPMUDev since they support it on all their hosting tiers and comes with a wildcard SSL cert for HTTPS on all your sites. If you haven't set up a multisite before, I highly recommend going with WPMUDev since their support team will literally just do all the work of setting it up for you if needed. I use Forminator by WPMU DEV. Its free plan allows us to add "upload file" block. But, yeah, it's still vulnerable in case someone upload malicious file via it. Forminator can be combined with Akismet & Captcha (to block spam bot), and WPMU DEV also has security plugin named Defender. And lots of good hosting includes ImunivyAV/360 into FTP.
