If you want to migrate a few selected emails only that time you can use IMAP or drag and drop methods. But these methods are quite time consuming and may not work in huge number of messages. So I will suggest you to use an excellent Thunderbird to Outlook converter which is available free of cost for trial and export first 20 emails per folder for absolutely free. To check how to convert Thunderbird to outlook PST format, you can download the tool from above suggested source link.
Follow Steps to Perform Thunderbird Conversion to Outlook!

Ok I see what you mean, yeah that's a pain. You could turn off MySQL in MAMP and run a separate DB app such as DBngin (https://dbngin.com/), which makes it easier to start/stop different DB's but only offers different versions of MySQL, not MariaDB. Source: about 2 years ago
Laravel has a built in server which leverages local PHP. I use that combined with https://dbngin.com/ for MySQL + Redis. Then frontend is ran with local node (via https://volta.sh/, also very quick). Source: over 2 years ago
