The proper solution to tests sharing state would be randomization. Unless we are locked to real hardware - even then there is virtualization - we can randomize anything. I recommend using the Inbox Preview tool to see which clients might be the biggest issues. I also agree with the other post that mentioned security software; you can run a test by having them whitelist and seeing if that helps.
