Generate a prefix where prompted and use the email as you see fit. Monitor the inbox and do what you need to do. It works well, and while a few providers have apparently blacklisted the @maildrop.cc address, it works in the vast majority of...

  • Inbound email spam. What are my options?
I did also briefly try https://heluna.com/ as it has a pricing modal that works for my use case and it has a nicer UI than mxguarddog. However I wasn't impressed that Heluna doesn't allow for delivering email on a non standard port to my mail server and they don't specify the source IPs they use to deliver mail to me so I can lock down my perimeter firewall to just those IPs. • A climate activist arrested after ProtonMail provided his IP address
    > I basically decided to just give up. Email is an insecure protocol and there's not much that can be done about it. Choosing a "secure" email provider feels like choosing a "secure" VPN provider: it's impossible to verify the provider's claims so it's a kind of security theatre. Notionally, I would imagine something that looks like "email" and acts like "e-mail" (to the end user) could reasonably exist that... - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago
