Mac Mouse Fix - To correct scroll direction of my Logitech mice. Also can assign back/forward mouse button. The Logitech official app is super bloated. Source: over 1 year ago
Not tried yet but this looks quiet interesting https://mousefix.org. Source: over 1 year ago
Yup, same here. I use this open source tool https://mousefix.org/ otherwise the scrolling would drive me insane. Source: over 1 year ago
You can try https://mousefix.org. I used it to configure an old Logitech mouse with some custom actions. Source: almost 2 years ago
Nice! I've been using Mac Mouse Fix (https://mousefix.org/), which is also open source, to handle inverting my mouse wheel and remapping the back/forward buttons, but LinearMouse looks quite a bit more featureful. - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
This area only recently, but I think macOS is still behind. When I'm using macOS, I can't stand the GUI without these tools: Rectangle: https://rectangleapp.com/ Easy Move+Resize: https://github.com/dmarcotte/easy-move-resize They move the macOS desktop usability near the place where KDE was in. - Source: Hacker News / 9 months ago
Yep, I find it pretty funny that my #1 favorite desktop UI feature is from Linux. One of the first things I'll put on a fresh install of Windows or MacOS is a utility that re-creates the behavior. I use AltDrag on Windows (requires a quick tweak for HiDPI): https://stefansundin.github.io/altdrag/ And Easy Move + Resize on MacOS: https://github.com/dmarcotte/easy-move-resize. - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago
Easy Move+Resize (free): comfortably move and resize application windows. Source: almost 3 years ago
I've used Easy Move+Resize[0] for this and configured it to Alt+drag windows (like most Linux window managers). [0] https://github.com/dmarcotte/easy-move-resize. - Source: Hacker News / almost 3 years ago
I've replaced Zooom/2 with this open source tool: https://github.com/dmarcotte/easy-move-resize. - Source: Hacker News / almost 3 years ago
Caldis MOS - A little job for your mouse.
Rectangle - Window management app based on Spectacle, written in Swift.
SteerMouse - Advanced driver for USB and Bluetooth mouses.
altdrag - AltDrag allows you to move and resize windows much easier.
Smooze - Smooze animates your scroll and adds functionality to your non-Apple mouse (scroll-wheel mouse).
Moom - Move your mouse over the green zoom button in any window, and Moom's mouse control overlay will appear (as seen in the above animation).
