I'm aphantasic, though I'm not entirely sure that I have always been that way. From my experience with psilocybin-containing mushrooms, I didn't hallucinate. Rather, my senses grew incredibly sharper and everything was super-vivid. I could see why they would be great for hunting in a prehistoric setting and would give one an unfair advantage. Shrooms are even known to increase visual acuity. I used to build these when I was in high school. All you need is a thrifted portable 78 RPM record player, poster board, a ruler, and a lightbulb. Have your heard about Lumenate (https://lumenategrowth.com/) ? It's an application which flickers light into your eyes and makes hallucinate ! I was sceptical, but it can go pretty intense ! With weed, it has a strong psychedelic vibe. Source: about 3 years ago
