I ordered some items from Lowes.com and they were out of stock after I ordered so they fedexed me a refund card cause I paid with gift card. I immediately got back on lowes.com and to buy replacement item and refund card didn't work, so I called support for about an hour and they couldn't get refund card to work and told me it was likely locked to in-store use only. What you are describing is not and installation problem but is a problem with the product, i.e. Thickness of the material. Depending on where you end up staying, consider flying to Burbank (BUR). airport. Its vastly smaller than LAX, so quicker to get in and out of, shorter lines at security, etc. And its closer than LAX to places like Hollywood. If CT means New York metro area, you can get nonstop to Burbank on JetBlue from JFK. Otherwise likely looking at at least one stop, but I imagine there's no non-stops to LAX either unless...
