Later I found out it was caused because a library we were using for debugging user problems was added to uBlocks black list (which is fair, that thing tracked excessive amounts of stuff. Maybe try Reincubate Camo, a software to use the iPhone as camera which is independent of Apple's continuity. I used it on windows when working at home in 2020 and 2021 during pandemic, and it had quite good video quality superior to built in cam of my laptop. They have it also for MacOS.
