One way I keep up is using https://listenbrainz.org/ to track my listening habits. Then when you're logged in https://listenbrainz.org/explore/fresh-releases/ will show new releases from artists you listen to, and with KPop you can assume there is video(s) to go with each new release so I just go to youtube then to find them. I've been doing quite a bit of playing around with mp3s recently and I've also seen this. It happens in VLC too, you might find that if you listen it'll say it's on at 10 seconds in say, but if you restart the track and jump to 10s you'll find it's at a slightly different point. I've never got completely to the bottom of the cause. However 90% of the time mp3val (https://mp3val.sourceforge.net/) can fix it though!... Source: about 1 year ago
