I've been using the open source Beeftext very successfully. Works across windows, so not cross platform like espanso, but a little bit more user friendly. Able to drop in entire templates with formatting. https://beeftext.org/. Source: about 1 year ago

You could use a text expander like Beeftext or Espanso so that typing something like :ee will replace it with Interviewee and :er will replace it with Interviewer. Source: over 1 year ago
