I use librarything.com to keep track of books I read. One of the things I like most about the site is that it basically works like your own personal library card catalog. You can create "collections" as well as tags to organize your books. You can easily add books by edition, format, or ISBN to your library. So in the past I used a site called listia.com to sell stuff I had around the house that I wanted to get rid of but wasn't worth enough to list on ebay (where there are some seller protections).
