It sounds like you want to run your containers on a serverless platform. You would need Kubernetes to use these but check out Kubeless or Knative. The only other thing I can think of to try is a completely clean install; not just uninstalling Audacity, but trashing any config, cache, and other files it may leave on your computer after uninstall.
