Honestly? I use https://beets.io/ to organise all my FLAC on my NAS. I expose the /Music directory over NFC. I use https://kodi.tv/ to stream music to my amp. Kodi sounds like what you're describing. You connect it to a tv and it can play media from your network, or use add-ons for internet streaming. I'm not sure if it includes the most popular streaming services, but I suppose you could use a browser for those. Source: 11 months ago

However, Android users have one advantage over iPhone users that would lead to a lower adoption rate of any streaming service. They can copy music to their local storage and play it with a local player such as Poweramp. Iphone users can do similar, though they don't have as many options or options that are as good as Poweramp.
