  • Lots of DRS posts today so I finally did it. Turns out Fidelity makes it easy to transfer shares from any broker, you don't even have to call.
    I initiated DRS today after dragging my feet. I was able to easily initiate the transfer to Fidelity from Vanguard. Fidelity makes it easy to do without even having to call but I did have a preexisting account. They recommend uploading a copy of a statement from the brokerage you are transferring from, and they make it easy to do do. Then the timeline to CS is much shorter and that was my biggest worry...
