Great list, thank you. One option is to always have more than one payment processor activated. Splitting payments across providers early on doesn’t have to be a bad thing. I know it feels like overkill, but I’d recommend either outsourcing (even Stripe has usage-based billing if you can keep your updates under 100/s) or using something off-the-shelf like https://killbill.io. I've been trying to setup AUTHELIA but the 2FA tokens fail on send. I've tried using a new Gmail account for SMTP and even went as far as setting up a Mailgun account to get it to send. Absolutely refuses. I also self-host CRATER INVOICE which I just use internally for record keeping, and tried both the Gmail and Mailgun SMTP setups with it as well.
