Absolutely lovely website you have at https://keygen.sh/ Did you write that as well or outsource it? - Source: Hacker News / 10 days ago
Took me a bit to realize it's licensing as in managing enterprise license keys 'C1B6DE-39A6E3...', not licensing as in MIT/GPL/etc. https://keygen.sh/ Does anyone know a minimal, alternative licensing solution appropriate for a tiny startup? One where the license key is the only form of user authentication. Is there a cheap service available? Or is it easy to roll a custom solution. - Source: Hacker News / 12 days ago
I run a business called Keygen [^0], and own the @keygen namespace on npm. We’re working on a Node SDK, so this isn’t good to hear. I’ll open up a discussion with them and see what we can do. [^0]: https://keygen.sh. - Source: Hacker News / 11 months ago
I run https://keygen.sh by myself. I built it about 7 years ago and started running it on the side. I went full-time on it in 2020 when it got too big to run on the side. But it’ll be... - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
On the other hand, Instagram Graph API allows you to publish posts, moderate comments, search hashtags, and access insights. However, the Graph API can be used only by “professional” accounts which have been paired with a Facebook page. The authentication flow is handled through Facebook Login, and the user can pick which Facebook pages and Instagram accounts are available to the application. - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago
Note that Basic Display is not an authentication tool. Data returned by the API cannot be used to authenticate your app users or log them into your app. If your app uses API data to authenticate users, it will be rejected during App Review. If you need an authentication solution, use Facebook Login instead. Source: over 2 years ago
I've had the idea of using Facebook for server authentication rather than Active Directory. I know there's an API: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/facebook-login/, but I was wondering if there was a simple way to allow anyone on my friends list to access the company servers? Or members of a group? Source: about 3 years ago
