  Bitdefender and Kaspersky have excellent free offerings. Kaspersky is lightweight. Both updates tend to be seamless. There is no NGAV consumer AV offering in the sense that they don't need constant signature updates like SentinelOne.   I would use Bitdefender Free or Kaspersky Free over Windows Defender and Malwarebytes. The free versions of either of these two are more than enough for a personal computer. Defender's local AI/ML engines are unreliable and rely on cloud look ups, heavily dependent on signatures and updates, and can be easily bypassed if you end up running the wrong thing as an admin or have a vulnerability that lets a...   Interesting, I usually don't get pop ups on soap2day or that site(only if I miss click on the play button or something similar sometimes). I use an ad blocker though so maybe thats why. I get WAY more when I use my iphone though. Source: 11 months ago

  This issue just appeared today, I've never seen it before. I'm using NordVPN with kill switch enabled, and I already checked with https://www.iplocation.net/ and http://checkmyip.torrentprivacy.com/ to confirm I'm routing all traffic through the VPN. I tried getting a new IP from Nord, but it still didn't fix it. I'm using this ad block plugin in chrome https://getadblock.com/en/ , so I don't think this is an ad. Source: about 1 year ago
