I first started working remotely in early 2014 when I was working as a Senior Full-Stack Developer at Jumpshare. I found it different yet intuitive from the very beginning. While working in the same physical space as your peers has its advantages, in remote work however you’ve full control of your environment and surroundings and the best part (for me) is the silence which helps in staying focused. Even though... - Source: dev.to / 6 months ago

At Jumpshare , where I hold the position of VP of Engineering, we have successfully turned these challenges into opportunities. Were passionate about implementing the techniques like this to make our machine learning inference tasks more cost-effective. Do you use frame.io? You can mark up notes and revisions, and export those as an edl for Resolve and import as markers into Resolve. The use a tool like https://aescripts.com/review-importer/ to import the same comments from frame.io into after effects. Or just use the Frame.io plugin directly inside After Effects too. So I do remote editing for my brother's training business. We use frame.io and I always download the proxies (sometimes 80-90 clips) to a folder in my documents folder. Is there any way to make it so that all of the clips can get re-pointed to the new file location instead of doing them all manually?Example. Source: 6 months ago
Bonus) This probably doesn't affect you, but in the real world you also need to factor in the costs to do your service, not just your own time.
